50 States Quarter Collections
In January 1999, The United States began a unique celebration of the 50 states. Each year, a series of five quarter-dollars with state-specific reverses will be issued from 1999 through 2008, celebrating each of the 50 states. The 50 new coins will be issued in the order that the states initially joined the Union. To date, 18 new quarter designs have been introduced.
United States Quarter Collections are now available for sale at Family First Credit Union and contain two uncirculated quarters; one from each mint - Denver (D) and Philadelphia (P). Historical data and interesting facts are also included with each state Quarter Collection.
The following U.S. Quarter sets are now available at FFCU:
1999 series:
- Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Georgia, Connecticut
2000 series:
- Massachusetts, Maryland, South Carolina, New Hampshire, Virginia
2001 series:
- New York, North Carolina, Rhode Island, Vermont, Kentucky
2002 series:
- Tennessee, Ohio, Louisiana
The first three state quarter collections from 1999; Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey, are available for $4.50. All other state quarter collections are available for $3.50. Collector's Boxes are also available for $9.00.
